"This product has been identified as an unapproved product that does not meet the FDA's labeling requirements." on Amazon: what it means

The seller reports this message for Japanese shampoos and other care products. An Amazon reply discusses English labeling and cosmetic label information. The post doesn't establish that any particular label correction led to reinstatement.

The things you must have

Check these first

If your shampoo is a cosmetic, you'll need to check the ingredient list with your factory for the naming and ordering used on its label. If your shampoo label is being prepared, check the manufacturer's name and address with your factory when reviewing the business information printed on the label. If your shampoo is ready for packaging, check the stated net contents with your factory during your review of the label for the finished product. If your business is named on the shampoo label, you'll need to retain safety evidence even where a product listing exemption applies to your business. If your shampoo will be sold in a state with cosmetic PFAS restrictions, ask your factory about the formula when checking the applicable state rules.
